Lead by example foundation announced that it is continuing its support for INSAIT's "EXPLORER" program for a second year, and will provide two new scholarships or talented Bulgarian students. The EXPLORER program is a joint initiative of INSAIT and the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics (FMI) at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski," inspired by the best global practices in the field. Its target are graduating high school students and students in their first years of the bachelor's program at FMI who have a strong interest in computer science, artificial intelligence, and deep-tech.
Participation in the "EXPLORER" program gives students the opportunity to combine the excellent theoretical training at FMI with active involvement in the research activities of the INSAIT institute and its ecosystem. In this way, participants gain a significant competitive advantage, which is crucial for their future careers, whether they choose scientific research, creating startups, or entering the global labor market.
Supporting the scholarship program, which initially started with up to five scholarships worth 90,000 leva per year, Lead by example foundation aims to help retain the most talented students in Bulgaria and provide them with world-class development opportunities.
